Salesforce Administrator

The Salesforce Administrator must have experience working with Salesforce and will be responsible for creating and implementing innovative technology solutions across the organization. This includes both leveraging workflow and process improvements within existing technologies (i.e. Microsoft products, Autotask, Salesforce, etc.) and evaluating, recommending, and implementing new technologies.

This position reports to the VP of Operations and will regularly interface with other members of the Higher Information Group management team. Participation in management meetings are required.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Consult with HIG management team to understand the business need and work collaboratively to develop relevant technology/workflow solutions and efficiency enhancements o Work with VP of Operations to prioritize projects, issues, and requests from management team.
  • Lead and manage new technology implementations (i.e. Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) as approved by senior management; work directly with managers and employees who will be impacted.
  • Evaluate and recommend workflow and process improvements via existing or new technologies Leverage and manage all HIG software usage.
  • Recommend combining and/or eliminating redundant or unnecessary existing technology tools if appropriate.
  • Implement workflow and process improvements as approved by senior management.
  • Administer HIG’s primary systems/applications including e-automate, Autotask, Salesforce, UVERCE, Power BI, HubSpot, ZoomInfo, etc. Note: Administration includes security permissions and roles, workflow rules, and configuration management. Support requests will be directed to the Help Desk.

What We Are Looking For

  • A strong understanding of technology and passion for innovation, automation, and process improvement is a must.
  • Salesforce experience preferred
  • Proven experience implementing new technologies in a Project Manager or Team Leader role.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment with a positive attitude.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and passion for innovation
  • Ability to manage and juggle multiple priorities effectively.
  • Self-motivated, flexible, and dependable
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Comfortable taking initiative.
  • Strong organizational skills
