How Long Does It Take to Build a Custom WordPress Website?
Developing an average-sized custom website with Higher Information Group can take anywhere from two to six months, provided the client is responsive. Clients play a critical role in project timelines! Along with client responsiveness, the size and complexity of the website also affect the timeline. Our team has an established and very efficient process in place, and we’re faithful to it. The steps are clearly outlined when we kick off each project, and clients understand what is expected of them to ensure the process moves along smoothly.

Will You Provide Website Hosting?
You bet! Although it is not a requirement, we highly recommend you host with HIG! We offer the gold standard of WordPress hosting through Flywheel. A standard website hosting fee runs about $35 per month and includes nightly backups, monthly theme and plugin updates, and SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) security technology.
Do You Use Website Templates or Themes?
If you are interested in the cookie-cutter approach, you’re out of luck! Our websites are designed from scratch based on each client’s needs and objectives. Our intention is to understand your business and your objectives and build a website that aligns with your values and resonates with your target audience. Your new website will be 100% unique and in alignment with your brand identity.
Will You Manage My Site?
We’d be happy to manage your site for as long as you need us. Much like our overall custom approach, our website clients have options based on their needs. We offer different retainer packages for ongoing content and design updates, depending on the size of your site and how often you’ll need changes or additions. If you believe that your need for changes will be rare, we can always just invoice you based on how long the work takes. Of course, if you’d like to make your own updates, we offer training that will teach you how to perform the functions that matter to you and provide step-by-step instructions via custom videos for reference.
Will My Website Be Mobile-Friendly?
Absolutely. All our websites are designed to be responsive and adapt to different screen sizes and devices.
