Hikvision is an innovative leader in video surveillance security systems, bringing school districts across the country a multi-step security upgrade to protect students, staff, and facilities. One such school district, Becker Public Schools, turned to Hikvision to expand their camera systems following Sandy Hook.
Their Goal
Becker School District had concerns with their current camera systems and their ability to provide safety on school grounds after dark. Key areas such as the parking lot areas were a challenge to properly secure and surveil. The school district looked to Hikvision to provide a suitable replacement that would meet their needs and budget.
The Result
A rigorous implementation processed ensued, providing the school district with a versatile solution with diverse applications. Hikvision’s DarkFighter line of cameras in key outdoor areas where evening light was an issue but a full-color video was desired.
