Central Dauphin School District (CDSD) was struggling with Equitrac to stay on top of their printing and copying quotas. With a tightening district budget, CDSD turned to Higher Information Group (HIG) for a solution that allowed the staff the freedom to move between networks and provide them with real-time remaining print balances.

The Solution

After installing 66 new Toshiba multifunctional printers, HIG switched Central Dauphin over from Equitrac to PaperCut MF. The fully featured printing and copying management system allowed them to set quotas and carefully track printing statistics so the district knew exactly how much was being printed and by whom.

Result

For the school district IT department employees, PaperCut administration is much easier and simpler to manage than Equitrac, ultimately helping the district tame printing costs.
