Cisco’s Umbrella web security service is the first line of defense when users accidentally misspell a domain name in a web browser or click a link contained within a malicious email. The service allows HIG IT staff to gain never-before-seen visibility into what is coming and going within a client’s network. The service’s roaming client provides protection beyond the corporate firewall and protects users wherever they choose to work.
On more than one occasion, we were able to identify and begin blocking previously unknown threats within minutes of activating the service on new clients’ networks.
