The Business Case
Hollywood Casino came to Higher Information Group (HIG) to deliver and install six secure 96-gallon containers and 2 Executive Cabinets in their corporate office in the Casino employee area. HIG was then tasked with using bonded and insured manager level employees from pick-up to destruction. The shredding arrangement included switching locked containers on a weekly schedule during regular business hours to be destroyed in a manner to ensure FERPA, FACTA, GLB, Sarbanes-Oxley, and HIPPA compliance is met.
HIG Delivers the Solution
HIG continues to recycle shredded material directly to their paper mill, with one tone of paper made from cycled paper saving approximately 17 trees. Hollywood Casino continues to work with HIG for their document destruction needs, receiving a certificate of destruction after each shredding via email.
